We are Curious Explorers, a family of four and embarked on a personal growth adventure. For the past nine years, we've called Asia home, but end of 2024, we've hitting the road for a year-long world tour starting in December 2024. Our two young explorers, Axel (10) and Lauris (9), are always eager to discover new places and turn ordinary days into thrilling escapades. Their boundless curiosity is the driving force behind this entire expedition. Fabienne, with her 25 years of experience managing complex events—everything from the European Football World Cup to international brand activations—brings invaluable organizational skills to our team. And Pierre, a seasoned consultant in marketing, digital transformation, and innovation, guides us along the way to meet with entrepreneurs, and innovators driving real change. We're combining our love for exploration with our professional backgrounds to explore the future of innovation and discover game changing solutions for the future of our humanity and planet.
Who we are?
Borderless Impact was more than a trip; it's a deep dive into the future of innovation. Traveling overland from Bangkok to France, our family aimed to explore over 50 inspiring initiatives across emerging markets, and meticulously document 12 distinct impact innovation models. Their journey was driven by a desire to understand how human-centric innovation is tackling critical global challenges, from environmental sustainability to access to education or healthcare. Through in-depth interviews with experts, local communities, and children, we have captured diverse perspectives on the impact of these innovations, their remaining challenges and potential replicability. The ultimate goal is to share these compelling stories, extract key learnings applicable to any organization, and envision a more sustainable, inclusive, and value-driven future of innovation. We believe that by understanding the needs and challenges faced by these pioneers, we can collectively build a roadmap for addressing global issues and driving meaningful progress.
Our expedition
As a family, we believe in also balancing the scales of a world often driven by finance. During our journey, we were committed to redistributing value by dedicating part of our time to causes that matter. In this context, we aimed to support NGOs, particularly those focused on empowering children through better access to education. Additionally, we aimed to inspire and uplift any entrepreneur who is creating an impactful business models. And to ensure we can work with those future leaders, along the way, we have organized workshops and meet-ups to share insights, foster collaboration, and contribute to building a more inclusive and sustainable future.

Our mobile base of operations isn't just a custom-built RV camper expertly crafted on a Toyota Hilux Revo 2.8 chassis; it's our mobile studio. Designed for comfortable remote living and equipped to facilitate the children's continued schooling, this robust camper allows us to venture into the heart of innovation, reaching even the most remote and challenging locations. More than just a home on wheels, the RV serves as a professional recording space, enabling us to conduct high-quality interviews with the thought leaders and innovators we meet along the way. This mobile studio allows us to capture compelling stories and insights directly from the source, ensuring a rich and authentic record of our journey. We're committed to minimizing our environmental impact as we traverse diverse terrains, from dense jungles to towering mountains. Recognizing the carbon footprint of our journey, we've pledged to offset our travel impact by supporting a carefully selected partner NGO, ensuring our pursuit of sustainable innovation is reflected in our own practices
